Coquitlam Limo Service
Somewhere past Burnaby, the view opens up. The Fraser glints to the south, and the white cables of the Port Mann Bridge fan out against the sky. Above Coquitlam, the mountains turn blue in the late light. By then, the flight is behind you. What lies ahead might be a contract, a conference, or a daughter’s graduation.
We cover that stretch of Highway 1 as part of our Coquitlam limo service. You can use the drive to catch up on emails or simply rest, and still look up in time to see the bridge.
Two Airports, One Easy Way into Coquitlam
You can fly into either of the region’s main airports, and we know both routes. For flights into Vancouver International Airport (YVR), we follow Highway 99 north and then the Trans-Canada east. Outside rush hour, the drive takes roughly 45 to 55 minutes. If the flight lands between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., Burnaby traffic can add another 10 to 15 minutes. By SkyTrain, the route means two line changes and about 70 minutes, which is a lot to ask of someone pulling two suitcases.
Should you land at Abbotsford International Airport (YXX) instead, we head west over that same white-cabled bridge. Its ten lanes have carried no toll since 2017. Coming from the east also skips the Burnaby bottleneck entirely, which makes YXX a smart choice after dark.
If you arrange trips for a VP, a late landing to an empty curb is probably your biggest worry. A chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall with a sign bearing your VP’s name, whatever time the plane arrives.
Where Coquitlam Does Business, We Already Know the Way
Once you have settled in, the working side of the visit begins, and here it tends to circle three addresses:
- At North Road and the Lougheed, the Executive Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre sits near Lougheed Town Centre station. Its Grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 750 guests for a reception, with seating for up to 550 in a theatre setup.
- A few minutes east, Pacific Reach Business Park stretches along United Boulevard, squeezed in by the highway and the river. You can tour a warehouse there in the morning and still sit down to lunch in downtown Vancouver by noon. With no SkyTrain station in the park, a vehicle is the practical link to everywhere else.
- Coworking offices farther along the Lougheed, in neighbouring Port Coquitlam, host smaller teams and their clients. For a quick client visit, we can bundle the trip out, the meeting, and the return into one hourly booking.
We can move a sales team between three meetings in one afternoon, or collect one director from a hotel lobby. For multi-day conferences, we usually recommend setting the hotel as the fixed pickup point rather than arranging separate pickups for every attendee. It reduces departure delays when meetings start early.
Douglas College Days Need More Than a Bus Pass
If your group is bound for Pinetree Way, you are entering the city’s learning quarter. Here you will find Douglas College’s Coquitlam Campus beside Lafarge Lake-Douglas station. Next door, Pinetree Secondary shares a site with the college, giving students access to nearby recreation facilities. The City Centre Branch of the Coquitlam Public Library is just steps from both.
Those neighbours send us very different bookings. We carry student groups heading out on field trips to galleries, research labs, and job sites. Visiting faculty sometimes arrive the night before they give a talk, and we take them to their lodging. Each new term brings international students with a year of luggage, and we drive them straight to their homestay.
For open houses and award ceremonies, we shuttle families from the parking lots to the library and the lecture halls. Nobody in formal clothes has to hike across Town Centre Park in the rain.
Seats, Screens, and Suitcase Space: Choose What Matters
A single director and a full volleyball team need very different vehicles, so we fit the choice to the trip. We pair each one below with the visit it suits best:
- When family visits for the weekend, the kids can take over the rear-seat media screens in our GMC Yukon. Meanwhile, the adults can talk in peace. It seats five, or up to eight with all three rows in use.
- A small faculty delegation fits in our 11-seat Executive Van, along with 11 bags. Your visiting professor’s boxes and projector never land on anyone’s lap. On-demand four-wheel drive also helps on snowy mornings, when the climb up Westwood Plateau can turn slick.
- On away-game days, your whole team boards our 31-seat Executive Bus at one curb, and every player’s kit bag gets its own spot. Coaches can talk through tactics on board, and no parent has to ferry a carload of players in a hatchback.
